Collagen production begins to slow down in our mid 20s. From that point on, the body produces about 1% less each year. Microneedling triggers your body’s natural healing process to produce collagen and elastin to help slow down the signs of aging.
It does this by using super fine needles to create tiny, controlled micro-injuries to your skin. It’s a great, natural option, to improve skin texture, skin tone, scars, and fine wrinkles. Adding platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to microneedling enhances its effectiveness because PRP is packed with growth factors and proteins that supercharge the skin’s natural healing process.
